The article examines theoretical, organizational, and pedagogical ways of improving the management of university students’ socialization. Socialization is regarded as a purposeful, continuous, and manageable process integrating academic adjustment, social engagement, professional identity formation, value orientations, self-regulation, and a sense of belonging to the university community.
The article also specifies the organizational-pedagogical conditions and management mechanisms required for effective socialization. It is argued that the outcomes of socialization should be assessed through an integrated set of indicators reflecting adaptation, engagement, belonging, cooperation, social responsibility, professional identity, and self-regulation.
