Modern technologies for developing communicative-cognitive competencies in bilingual education

The article examines modern pedagogical technologies aimed at developing students’ communicative and cognitive competences in bilingual education. Special attention is given to cooperative learning, communicative technology, collaborative learning, game-based and project-based methods, as well as the use of digital and multimedia tools. In the article it is justified that cooperative learning contributes to the development of students’ communication skills, social responsibility, and cognitive activity. Communicative technology ensures the organization of educational dialogue, co-construction of meaning, and the development of speech culture in two language systems. The significance of V. S. Bibler’s concept of cultural dialogue and S. Yu. Kurganov’s educational dialogue is emphasized. It is also highlighted that digital linguodidactics, gamification, and multimedia technologies increase learners’ motivation and activate their cognitive processes. Project-based and collaborative learning methods promote the integration of cognitive, communicative, and creative activities, fostering critical thinking and intercultural competence. In conclusion, it is stated that the integrated use of these technologies ensures the effective formation of communicative-cognitive competence in bilingual education.
