Abstract

        The object of the research is the electronic outline maps used in the teaching process of Geography. The forms and methods of using polygraphic and electronic outline maps in the teaching process of geography are presented. The effectiveness of their application in the process of understanding the subject is discussed.

         The purpose of the article is to reveal the importance of using contour maps to increase the effectiveness of teaching Geography.

The research methodology is built from the point of view of cause-and-effect relationships, and as the main method, the methods of interviewing students and comparing their progress were used, bearing in mind that the same class includes weak, medium and high-achieving students.

         Examples of the lesson plan, tested tasks, students' work, as well as correlations between the progress of students in different classes are presented. As a conclusion, we record that the applied cartography tricks contribute to increasing the efficiency of the class.
