Pedagogical conditions of forming a healthy liestyle culture in basic school

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of forming a healthy lifestyle culture among middle school students as an important direction of the modern educational process.

The relevance of the study is обусловлена the need to preserve the health of schoolchildren, to develop a value-based attitude toward health, and to promote healthy behavior. The aim of the article is to theoretically substantiate the essence of a healthy lifestyle culture, its structural components, and the pedagogical conditions for its formation in primary school.

The research methods included analysis of scientific literature, comparison, generalization, and theoretical systematization. As a result, it was determined that the culture of a healthy lifestyle is an integrative characteristic of the individual, which includes the unity of cognitive, motivational-value, and behavioral components. It is substantiated that its effective formation requires the creation of a health-preserving educational environment, the purposeful organization of both curricular and extracurricular activities, as well as consideration of students’ age and individual characteristics. It is concluded that the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture should be carried out under conditions of systematic and continuous pedagogical work.
