Erickson’s methodology enables the elimination of a client’s acquired conscious limitations and, through the use of teaching tales, utilizes accumulated life experiences, knowledge, and skills to shape positive behavior. The purpose of the research is to study the impact of Ericksonian therapeutic tales on changes in an individual's mental states. The research methods include a linear formative experiment and testing. The following instruments were administered: the "Well-being, Activity, and Mood" questionnaire (V. Doskin) and the Ericksonian teaching tale "Learn to Get Up" ․ The experiment was conducted in three stages: initial testing, a 21-day formative stage involving daily trance sessions, and final post-testing. Based on the experimental study, it was revealed that a teaching tale heard in a trance state activates an individual's internal resources and potential. The application of Ericksonian therapeutic tales induced significant positive shifts: mood improved by 18.4%, well-being by 13.6%, and activity by 9.1%. These results confirm that the Ericksonian method effectively facilitates psychological regulation and fosters a more constructive behavioral framework.
MARINE MIKAYELYAN KLAVDIA MKOYAN Copyright (c) 2026 MARINE MIKAYELYAN, KLAVDIA MKOYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 15 25 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.300 Motives for ensuring the mental resilience of military personnel in emergency situations https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/301
The objective of this article is to examine the primary factors influencing the psychological resilience of military personnel, as well as to identify and analyze the challenges associated with ensuring such resilience. The necessity for in-depth and comprehensive research is driven by the intensity of modern warfare, the diversity of weaponry employed, limited decision-making timeframes, rapidly evolving events, and the uncertainties inherent in the "fog of war." In these environments, maintaining the psychological resilience of military personnel becomes a critical prerequisite for combat readiness and operational effectiveness.
SAMVEL PARZYAN Copyright (c) 2026 SAMVEL PARZYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 26 36 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.301 Psychological characteristics of the personality value crisis in the post-war period https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/302
The goal of the article is to study the psychological characteristics of a person's value system crisis in the post-war period. The socio-psychological environment formed after the war causes significant transformations in the individual’s value system, social attitudes, behavioral models, and meaning-making processes. The article examines the influence of post-war traumatic experiences on the destabilization of the individual’s value system, the psychological consequences of decreased social trust, and the characteristics of behavioral responses. The theoretical analysis is based on M. Rokeach’s theory of values and S. Schwartz’s concept of value orientations, with reference to V. Frankl’s meaning-centered approach. The article also reflects the results of an experimental study conducted among individuals with post-war experience. During the research, the methods of psychological interview, M. Rokeach’s “Value Orientations” methodology, and the survey method were applied. The analysis of the obtained data showed that under post-war conditions the majority of participants prioritized values related to security, family preservation, and psychological stability, while value orientations associated with professional self-realization, social activity, and future planning decreased.

The research findings indicate that the post-war value crisis is mainly manifested through the disruption of the individual’s internal psychological balance and the intensification of uncertainty about the future. At the same time, some participants demonstrated a tendency toward reconsidering life values and restoring psychological stability.

The article may have practical significance in the development of psychological support, social adaptation, and psychoeducational programs in post-war conditions.
VARDUHI MANUKYAN Copyright (c) 2026 VARDUHI MANUKYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 37 48 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.302 Information and communication technologies in the process of preschoolers’ social-emotional development https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/303
The article examines the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the social-emotional development of preschoolers. Preschool age is widely recognized as a sensitive period during which key competencies such as self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, social interaction, and communication skills are formed. In this regard, investigating the impact of ICT on children’s social-emotional development is of particular importance. The study aims to analyze the influence of ICT on the social-emotional development of preschool children. A combination of theoretical and empirical methods was employed. The theoretical component included a review and analysis of relevant scholarly literature, while the empirical component relied on observation, interviews, and experimental methods to assess the effects of ICT use.

The findings suggest that the purposeful, moderate, and pedagogically guided use of ICT positively contributes to children’s social-emotional development, including emotional expression, communication activity, and social interaction skills. However, the study also indicates that excessive and unregulated exposure to screen-based environments may pose risks to social-emotional development.
VLADIMIR KARAPETYAN MARIANNA AMIRAGHYAN Copyright (c) 2026 VLADIMIR KARAPETYAN; MARIANNA AMIRAGHYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 49 57 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.303 Methodological features of project-based learning in the teaching of social studies https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/304
The article examines the application of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) method in Social Studies classes, specifically within the 9th grade of Yerevan Basic School No. 64. The research aims to identify the pedagogical effectiveness of the project method through a comparative analysis of the state symbols of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of France.

The methodology of the study includes comparative-analytical, descriptive, historical, and pedagogical observation methods. In the framework of the project, students were involved in collecting, classifying, and synthesizing information from diverse sources, including textbooks, encyclopedias, and official websites. An interdisciplinary approach was utilized, involving collaboration between Social Studies and the French language teachers.

The results of the project demonstrate that the study of state symbols not only fosters a deeper understanding of national identity and historical continuity but also significantly develops students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic consciousness. The comparative analysis revealed how different historical paths (republican values in France vs. the struggle for statehood and spiritual resilience in Armenia) are reflected in national symbols. A tangible outcome of the work was the creation of a bilingual book (Armenian and French) presenting the symbols of both nations. The study confirms that PBL is an effective tool for increasing student engagement and developing vital life skills.
SAMVEL POGHOSYAN ARMINE YEPRIKYAN RAMELA SARGSYAN Copyright (c) 2026 SAMVEL POGHOSYAN; ARMINE YEPRIKYAN, RAMELA SARGSYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 58 67 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.304 The reflection of migration policy in the security strategic documents of the usa and the eu: a political science perspective https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/305
The article provides a comparative analysis of the perception of migration policy in the strategic documents of the United States and the European Union from a political science perspective. The aim of the study is to examine how migration is both securitized and institutionalized within different political systems, as well as to assess the impact of these processes on policy formulation and implementation. The theoretical framework is based on securitization theory, which allows for an analysis of how migration is constructed as a security issue and what political consequences arise from this discourse. The study employs a comparative and qualitative methodology, based on the content analysis of strategic policy documents. The findings show that in the U.S. National Security Strategy, migration is primarily framed within a security-centered logic, where priority is given to border control, risk management, and selective immigration policies. At the same time, it also incorporates economic and integration dimensions, forming a hybrid governance model. In contrast, the European Union’s strategic approach is characterized by a multi-level and normatively oriented human-centered discourse, in which migration is viewed not only as a security challenge but also as an issue of human rights, social stability, and regional cooperation. However, at the level of practical implementation, there is a growing emphasis on externalization and control mechanisms, indicating internal contradictions within the EU framework. The article concludes that both the United States and the European Union develop hybrid models of migration governance, where securitization and management approaches are combined in different proportions. These differences are shaped by institutional structures and value priorities, which play a decisive role in the formation of migration policies.
TIGRAN GHAZARYAN Copyright (c) 2026 TIGRAN GHAZARYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 68 80 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.305 Modern technologies for developing communicative-cognitive competencies in bilingual education https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/306
The article examines modern pedagogical technologies aimed at developing students’ communicative and cognitive competences in bilingual education. Especially in the context of the integration of art in this case, music it is necessary to consider methods of measuring these feelings both in psychological and aesthetic contexts, as well as within the framework of musical art, including their emergence and manifestation in various types of activities. In our study, several measurement indicators in the field of aesthetic experience were examined, the reliability and effectiveness of which have been experimentally tested and confirmed by prominent representatives of modern psychology. Based on existing methods for measuring aesthetic feelings in the process of teaching the subject “Music” in general education schools, we developed a comprehensive system of measurement indicators aligned with the objectives of our research, which is presented in this subsection.

Given the multifactorial nature of the model of aesthetic feeling formation, it becomes clear that we measure several components. The aim of the study is to identify the linguistic-stylistic features of non-literary vocabulary usage and to determine its role in the structural organization of artistic discourse. The methodology of the study is based on the principles of historical, literary, and linguistic analysis, particularly through examining specific situations and identifying cause-and-effect relationships. Colloquial and dialectal units were analyzed as means of popularizing speech and emphasizing the linguistic characteristics of the characters. The analysis demonstrates that in Nar-Dos’s works colloquial and dialectal units function not merely as a means of externally “popularizing” the speech, but rather as internal elements of the linguistic and stylistic structure of the text. They contribute to the linguistic individualization of characters, the representation of the linguistic environment of the social milieu, and the multilayered organization of the author’s narrative. Their purposeful and differentiated usage is conditioned by the communicative situation and by the principles of linguistic modeling of artistic thought.

The main result of the study lies in the systemic reinterpretation of the non-literary layers of Nar-Dos’s language. In this research, colloquial and dialectal vocabulary are considered within an interconnected functional system, differentiated according to the degree of general comprehensibility and spatial limitation. This approach makes it possible to clarify the internal structure of non-literary lexical layers and to reveal their role in the organization of artistic discourse, demonstrating that they contribute not only to the formation of characters’ speech but also to the enrichment of the expressive potential of the Armenian literary language.
KRISTINE NIKOGHOSYAN Copyright (c) 2026 KRISTINE NIKOGHOSYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 192 208 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.316 The educational significance of the literary heritage of mekhitar gosha https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/317
The examination of Mkhitar Gosh’s ethical heritage within the educational paradigm of high school is regarded as a fundamental means of confronting the challenges of modernity. In the face of the moral disorientation prevalent among contemporary youth, Gosh’s ethical system—anchored in the principles of justice, moderation, and reason—offers a vital and distinctive arsenal for cultivating internal resilience against social vices. In Gosh’s worldview, morality exists in organic unity with jurisprudence and the concept of state-building. Within the context of establishing a rule-of-law state, his bequeathed principles of the "common good" and social responsibility are transformed into educational benchmarks, instilling the realization that individual virtue is the cornerstone of socio-political strength. The allegorical structure of his fables and the resolution of moral dilemmas serve as powerful methodological tools for developing the analytical capacities of adolescents. These elements facilitate a contextual understanding of phenomena and foster conscious moral decision-making through the disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships. The revitalization of medieval wisdom allows students to perceive national culture as an inseparable part of universal civilization, thereby promoting national self-awareness and the strengthening of personal dignity. Ultimately, the integration of Mkhitar Gosh’s ethical system into the educational process is not merely a matter of historical inquiry, but a strategic pedagogical approach aimed at shaping a rational, morally mature, and civically engaged modern individual.
OFELYA HOVHANNISYAN Copyright (c) 2026 OFELYA HOVHANNISYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 209 220 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.317 Hovhannes tumanyan's poem “to infinity” https://scientificnews.aspu.am/index.php/scientific/article/view/318
The object of research is backward manners and ignorance in the rural environment. The core of the study focuses on the influence of the author's medical discourse and professional experience on the formation of his artistic thinking and poetic system. The relevance of the research is determined by the necessity of examining Sevak’s work in the context of the creative practices of world-renowned physician-poets (such as A. Chekhov, G. Benn, and W. Williams). The study substantiates that the author's "clinical gaze" did not limit his neo-romantic inspiration; on the contrary, it led to an exceptional synthesis of scientific rationalism and sensibility. It analyzes the mechanisms of poetic transformation of scientific terminology, through which biological and corporeal realities in Sevak’s texts acquire ontological and philosophical resonance. Special attention is paid to the role of European university education (University of Lausanne) as the foundation for the aesthetic views of the Western Armenian intellectual elite. It is demonstrated that in Sevak’s work, medical ethics evolves into a creative "therapy," where the literary word assumes the mission of diagnosing the national catastrophe and collective trauma, while searching for paths to spiritual healing. The research concludes that Sevak's poetic system is an original manifestation of "physiological lyricism," where anatomical precision serves to profoundly reveal human psychology and national destiny. This work can serve as a basis for further typological studies of Western Armenian literature.
SHOGHIK MELKONYAN Copyright (c) 2026 SHOGHIK MELKONYAN https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-05-22 2026-05-22 1 51 233 244 10.24234/scientific.v1i51.319
